Tunisia

Well, I had the wonderful opportunity to do an internship with the German - Tunisian Chamber of Commerce in Tunis/Tunisia. Therefore, I left Groningen in the end of January 2004 for heading off to North Africa. I was really curious as it should be the very first time for me to go, not only to Africa, but also to go to a country outside Europe. Great! I was so much looking forward to it!.

So I stepped on the plane and went down to Tunisia where I started my internship in the beginning of February. I worked in the Market consultancy for about 5.5 months and I had great fun and it was often very challenging and interesting to work there. The time flew by so fast, that, now looking back, everything seems to be so far away and as it would have been in a different world. I hardly can believe that I was so lucky to live in the beautiful country for such a long time. The experiences, the people, the culture, the religion, the landscape, the weather and everything else has been so wonderful.
